Te Wera Wera Bridge

Since 2010, the landmark Te Rewa Rewa Bridge has been a highlight of the award-winning Coastal Walkway.

NPDC and Ngāti Tawhirikura Hapū collaborated on the walkway. And, at the request of the Hapū, the bridge span faces Mt Taranaki. The bridge was designed and built by a local consortium including subcontractors and suppliers.
