Pukekura Park

A programme to celebrate and enhance our iconic much-loved Pukekura Park and Bowl of Brooklands.

NP Partners are working closely with NPDC and a group of partners including Boon Architects on a series of projects identified through the updated Pukekura Park Reserve Management Plan.

Planned upgrades include:

  • New flexible spaces at the Bowl of Brooklands
  • New Bellringer Pavilion in an improved location
  • Appealing new entry plaza and information space
  • Renovated waterway feature on the main lake dam
  • Tea House upgrade

Brooklands Zoo upgrade

Design work has started on the first phase of upgraded habitats for our animals at Brooklands Zoo. These include the Asian small-clawed otter and free-flight aviaries. We’re also adding improved educational signage to complement the enhanced facility. Construction will begin mid-2026.
