Ngāmotu-New Plymouth is home to the world’s first purpose-built, fully integrated museum, library and visitor information centre.
Puke Ariki opened in 2003, and was funded by the Puke Ariki Partnership comprising NPDC, TRC, NZ Government and a group of Taranaki-based companies, along with support from Taranaki Iwi.
