Former All Black and double Rugby World Cup winner Conrad Smith is championing the development of a new community lodge at the Taranaki Outdoor Pursuits and Education Centre.
The proposed new lodge will expand capacity, provided flexible all-weather spaces, learning areas and open opportunities for community, corporate and organisational use.
The organisation, known as Topec, had served Taranaki learners for more than 35 years and the lodge would cater for its growing demand in outdoor education programmes.
